Since I have been unable to paint with oils using a fine brush on canvas I focused on a series of Drawings depicting
the “Shadowland” I grew up in and knew of a Northern city, in a large family knowing poverty and deprivation. At 78
I must use colour to focus on individuals I respect, in acknowledgement of some of the adults I’d known.previously.
